Vinny AKA Mr. Vincent

Teddy, Jessie and Ellie

Teddy was my first Great Dane. He died at 16 months thanks to a ignorant "new" Vet and the deadly Blastomycosis. Read about Dr. Lee in older posts.

Jessie and Ellie came to me from our local Animal Advocates after their owner passed away.
They have both been re homed and are making 2 family's very happy.

Star-Fia

This sweet girl was an owner surrender. She was re homed with a young couple that fell completely in love with her. She dropped over dead at the age of 15 months. Her new family was heartbroken.
Crazy Vinny(Mr. Vincent) is now mending their broken hearts.

RIP Star

Goodbye JD

JD went to the bridge peacefully in his sleep the night I came home from spreading my Mom's ashes and putting Albert to sleep.

He was a good boy, sweet, smart, loving and loyal. We are happy that we were able to spend his last year of life with him. This last year he was SPOILED ROTTEN. Thanks to our friend Scotty.

Fly free JD. You are missed.

And Now Benny

Benny has his own web page! www.thegreatdanerescue.com

Then came Vinny

Vinny was an owner surrender. He was underweight and lame. He had 5 surgurys in the first week I had him. He has been re-homed and is recovering very well.

Goodbye my friend

Albert was put to sleep November 2008.The same day I was heading to spread my Mother's ashes. It has been a hard year.
It was a very hard thing to do but the best for him. He could no longer walk on his own. Albert came to me as a foster. He decided he would not be re-homed and stayed here with me. Albert became possibly the best dog I have ever had. I miss him, everyday. My mom loved Albert. I am going to think they are together, somewhere great, in no pain. Knowing how badly I miss them both. Everyday.

Goodbye my friend
