More JD

This guy is so amazing. So sweet, loving. Look at that face. Love , Love, Love for everyone.
We love JD.
His time with us is limited as his cancer is affecting his everyday "stuff".
We are sad. We want this guy forever, but I guess forever is today, so we are lucky.

JD
Here is a shot of this sweet boys face. We went to the vet yesterday. JD is suffering from frostbite, malnutrition, dehydration, open wounds from laying in one spot chained up, infected eyes. Thats all the good news. JD also has cancer, untreatable in my opinion due to his condition. JD is 25 pounds underweight. I am afraid to put him through surgery and chemo. He is aprox 9 years old and the cancer he has is fast moving and terminal, regardless of treating it. JD weighed 80 pounds the day I picked him up, in three days he had gained 2.5 pounds and every day he looks better. The cancer will indeed take JDs life but not without a few months of food, water and LOTS of lovin. According to the vets, JD would not have survived much longer in the cold without food and water. So as bittersweet as this has become, we can not save his life for long, but we can sure keep him from suffering ever again.
JD rocks
